Naugatuck, Connecticut – Police take down an illegal gambling operation

Following a seven month investigation into illegal gambling that was taking place at the Main Street Social Club in Naugatuck located at 423 North Main Street, Naugatuck police and officers from the Connecticut State Police Statewide Organized Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at the club on Wednesday the 27th of July. As a result, multiple employees were arrested and accused of organizing and running an illegal gambling operation, while several players were issued with summons. The persons arrested and/or issued with summons included organizers, dealers, a waitress, and several players. Police also charged one juvenile in the process.
